Matt Hardy thinks WWE fired brother Jeff prematurely

During a Twitch stream yesterday, Matt Hardy said that WWE might have released his brother Jeff a bit prematurely and asked fans to wait until the drug tests come back.

Matt said that WWE probably felt like they were backed into a corner due to Jeff’s past history with similar situation and that led to his release. “Even though they may have jumped the gun with this a little bit, they made a decision and it is what it is,” Matt said during the stream.

Matt added that his brother refused to go to rehab because he did not think he needed to go and he didn’t think so either, saying that Jeff is in the best place he has seen him in a very long time.

“As far as the details of what went down on that evening and in that match, I’ve talked with Jeff…I feel good about everything he said and that’s Jeff’s story to share. And he told me he will when he’s ready to,” he said.
