Marko Stunt’s contract not being renewed due to “budget cuts”

Marko Stunt, one third of the Jurassic Express team, will not have his contract renewed according to Fightful Wrestling, with AEW citing a large roster and budget cuts.

It was Christopher Daniels, who is in charge of talent, who made the call to Stunt to inform him about the change. Stunt has not been used since October 2021 and seemingly vanished from the picture.

The 25-year-old signed with AEW in 2019 and has been with the company since their inaugural Double or Nothing show.

Several contracts are coming up and AEW will not be renewing some of them, something that Tony Khan admitted in the past. The company has been signing a lot of the released WWE stars lately and yesterday signed another former talent, Toni Storm.
