Mark Briscoe injured, out of the Death Before Dishonor ROH pay-per-view

The number one contender for the ROH World title, Mark Briscoe, has been taken off from his upcoming match against Claudio Castagnoli at Death Before Dishonor next week due to an injury.

Briscoe reportedly suffered a knee injury and will be out of action for months, leaving the ROH pay-per-view without a main event for now.

AEW President Tony Khan said that they will address the situation and a new title challenger next week following the Blood & Guts Dynamite. Khan wished Briscoe the best in his injury recovery.

Castagnoli will also be part of the Blood & Guts match on Wednesday so it will be a busy week for the ROH champion.
