Leila Grey undergoes surgery to repair torn ACL

AEW star Leila Grey underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL.

Grey suffered the injury late last year during a match against Mercedes Mone for the TBS title at a Collision taping.

The reason why it took her four months to go under the knife is because she was told to hold off until she had a better range of motion in her knee.

“Hey guys. I finally had my knee surgery yesterday. Everything went well,” she wrote on social media. “I’m home recovering and starting therapy tomorrow. Thank you all for the support during this time.”

Grey, with the help of a knee brace, participated in a WBFF Pro Fitness competition just a week after suffering the injury and won the WBFF Pro Fitness Diva category.
