AEW star Konosuke Takeshita will be participating in the 2024 G1 Climax tournament.

The tournament begins on July 20 and will wrap up a month later, on August 18 in Tokyo.

Takeshita is the only AEW star in the tournament this year and that means he will probably be very limited to AEW television during the duration of the tournament.

Eddie Kingston was part of last year’s tournament which was won by Tetsuya Naito.
