Jon Moxley set for NJPW match at Wrestle Kingdom 21

MJF will not be the only AEW star participating at Wrestle Kingdom 21 as former AEW World champion Jon Moxley will also be on the card.

This time around it was NJPW’s Shingo Takagi who laid out the challenge for the Death Riders leader. Takagi teamed with Jeff Cobb to take on Moxley and Wheeler Yuta at NJPW’s Power Struggle event today, and Cobb got the win for the team by pinning Yuta.

Following the match, Takagi challenged Moxley for a match on January 4 at the Tokyo Dome. Their last match against each other, Moxley beat Takagi in a no disqualification match at NJPW’s Battle in the Valley event in 2024.
