Jim Ross says cancer surgery was a success

AEW announcer Jim Ross posted on X that his surgery to tackle his latest cancer was a success.

“Happy to say that today’s cancer surgery was a success,” JR wrote yesterday. “Now we be begin to rehabilitate.”

Ross was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this month and recently said that cancer was found in two locations.

The WWE Hall of Famer is expected to stay in hospital for a few more days before being allowed to return home, assuming there’s no complications.

He said this week that he would like to keep his AEW schedule but thinks that no one believes he could do it. Ross plans to chat with AEW President Tony Khan in the near future to discuss the plan forward.
