Jeff Hardy cleared to return says brother Matt

Matt Hardy revealed that his brother Jeff has got the all clear to return to the ring from doctors two-and-a-half months after suffering an injury on Rampage.

Hardy was knocked out during his match against Sammy Guevara and instead of stopping the match or going straight to a pin, Guevara made things worse by giving Hardy his finisher. He was suspended a few days later for not following protocol although questions still remain why the referee did not stop the match or why doctors didn’t intervene from ringside.

“Jeff had been to his doctor and he’d seen the AEW doctor and as of right now, as of a couple of days ago, he is officially cleared,” Hardy said responding to a fan who asked how his brother is doing.

“He is cleared to wrestle and he could be competing, I guess, soon,” Matt added, noting that Jeff got a broken nose and sinuses smashed during the match.

Matt is no longer with AEW and is currently a free agent appearing on TNA Wrestling. He keeps posting on X the QR codes and WWE videos which are suggesting the return of Uncle Howdy.
