I Quit match announced for WrestleDream 2025

The first match for the next AEW pay-per-view, WrestleDream, was made official last night.

Darby Allin issued a challenge to Jon Moxley for an I Quit match, a match which Moxley accepted after Dynamite went off the air. Allin made his presence felt last night, coming down to chase The Death Riders with a flamethrower following the ending of the main event which saw new AEW Women’s champion Kris Statlander turn down the invitation to join the faction.

Allin and Mox had a violent casket match at All Out last week which Moxley won after Pac returned to help. All previous matches between the two were won by Moxley.

WrestleDream will take place from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, October 18.
