FTR goes from holding three tag team titles to nothing following Wrestle Kingdom

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler went from holding the ROH, AAA, and IWGP tag team titles at the same time to having less weight in their luggages now as they lost the last set of titles – the IWGP World Tag Team titles – today at Wrestle Kingdom.

FTR lost the match to Bishamon, the team of Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi in a 10-minute match, ending FTR’s 192-day reign as champions.

The AEW tag team won the titles from United Empire at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June 2022 where both the ROH and IWGP Tag Team titles were on the line in a three-way tag team match also featuring Roppongi Vice.

FTR lost the ROH Tag Team titles to The Briscoes in a dog collar match at the Final Battle pay-per-view last month and the AAA World Tag Team titles to Dralistico and Dragon Lee at the AAA Noche de Campeones last week.
