Steven Muehlhausen, who ran the DAZN social media in years past, wrote on X that DAZN dropped out of their three-year TV deal with AEW after just one year.

Citing low PPV, Dynamite, and Collision viewership, DAZN exercised the option to end their partnership two years early.

DAZN aired AEW in countries which did not have a TV deal mainly in Europe.

The countries of Albania, Alderney, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Jan Mayen Islands, Jersey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Svalbard, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan now have no AEW TV coverage unless they pay for Triller’s AEW+ service.

In related news, TelevisaUnivision, which aired AEW on their VIX service, also dropped AEW after one year. VIX covered AEW in Mexico as well as countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, including countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Argentina, and many others.
