Darby Allin makes first comments since reaching Mount Everest

In his first comments since reaching Mount Everest yesterday, Darby Allin thanked AEW for “everything in life,” as he began his descent.

Allin and the rest of his team, consisting of three Nepalese Sherpas and another Nepalese climber, reached the summit yesterday morning.

“Mount Everest summit. What a ride thanks @aew for everything in life,” Allin wrote in a post on Instagram, holding the AEW flag. “Thanks to the amazing team at adventure consultants and the Sherpa squad this shit was wild!”

Allin hasn’t wrestled since December 2024 as he prepared for the climb which was originally set for last year, but had to be called off due to the injuries he suffered during Sting’s retirement match at Revolution.
