Chris Jericho’s AEW contract to expire on December 31 at Midnight

Former Daily Mail and TalkSPORT reporter Alex McCarthy is reporting that Chris Jericho’s contract will expire at Midnight on December 31 and is ready to return to WWE.

The former AEW champion, who has been with the promotion since its inception, has never shot down returning to WWE in interviews lately even though AEW President Tony Khan has stated multiple times that he would love to have Jericho return to AEW.

Jericho has not wrestled or featured on AEW television since the Dynasty pay-per-view on April 6 where he lost the ROH World title to Bandido.

His last match with WWE dates back to 2018 and The Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

Rumors are that Jericho might even show up on the Netflix one year anniversary episode on January 5 from Brooklyn, New York which is also the crossover event with Stranger Things.
