Brian Cage re-signs with AEW

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that Brian Cage has opted to stay in AEW after there seemed to be not that much effort coming from WWE to bring him over.

Cage, whose contract was expiring on March 31, said a few days before that he would like to wrestle Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania since he’ll be around in Los Angeles and won’t have anything to do after March 31 and the Supercard of Honor show.

He has been with AEW since 2020 after leaving Impact Wrestling and is currently the ROH Six-Man Tag Team champion with The Embassy.

Cage, 38, has now reportedly signed a new deal with AEW which would keep him with AEW and ROH for a few more years to come.
