Andrade El Idolo wins title in first post-WWE match

Andrade El Idolo wrestled his first post-WWE match last night in Tijuana, Mexico and won The Crash Heavyweight title.

Now signed again with All Elite Wrestling, El Idolo defeated DMT Azul, who held the championship for a promotion record of 883 days.

El Idolo returned to AEW this past Wednesday during the Dynamite sixth anniversary episode, attacking former AEW World champion Kenny Omega and then aligning himself with the Don Callis Family.

It was reported that Andrade was fired from WWE due to multiple Wellness Program violations.

The Crash Lucha Libre promotion is based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
