Death Riders member Marina Shafir wrestled at an indie event yesterday promoted by Warrior Wrestling and following her match, she addressed the fans and talked about her friend Pac, who had just died hours earlier.

Sitting on the top turnbuckle and clearly emotional, Shafir said she was just holding him just a day before.

“Wrestling drives you to f*cking places in your mind. Y’all just…he was the best. He was the f*cking best. You know why? Because he knew himself,” Shafir said. “And I think…that just took him…he was just so modest about how fascinating he was. You know, and…I…I don’t know how to be. I don’t know what to do. He was the light of us.”

Shafir urged everyone in the room to tell the people they love in their life that they love them.

“I was just very happy that I got to tell him that I loved him. Yesterday. And we hugged and we spoke about wiener dogs and basketball courts and…everything. Everything. He brought the inner bastard out in me,” she continued.

Shafir said she wouldn’t be there today if she didn’t share time and space with Pac before telling fans to take a moment of silence and appreciate each other.
