AEW Unified Championship to replace International and Continental belts

AEW is getting rid of the International and Continental titles and instead creating the AEW Unified Championship, which will be the prize that either Kazuchika Okada or Kenny Omega walk out with after their match at All In: Texas.

The two champions are in a winner-takes-all match and there had been rumors for quite a while that the titles will be unified.

The International title, originally called the All-Atlantic title, made its debut in June 2022 and renamed in March 2023. Omega won the title at Revolution in March of this year.

The Continental title was originally part of the AEW Triple Crown, with the ROH World title and the NJPW Strong title. The inaugural champion, Eddie Kingston, lost all three belts in individual matches, with Okada winning it on Dynamite in March 2024.
