AEW to hold Continental Classic 12-man round robin tournament

AEW is launching a new tournament called Continental Classic and will start on the November 22 episode of Dynamite which is the Thanksgiving Eve episode from Chicago.

The tournament was announced by AEW President Tony Khan along with Bryan Danielson yesterday on Collision.

The Continental Classic will feature 12 men in a round robin tournament. The 12 will be divided into two groups of six and matches will take place on Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. The tournament final match will take place at the Worlds End pay-per-view on December 30.

Danielson, recovering from a broken orbital bone, is the first man named in the tournament.
