AEW holds beautiful tribute show to honor Jon Huber on Dynamite

Emotions ran high on Dynamite last night as the roster and staff of AEW paid a beautiful tribute to the late Jon “Brodie Lee” Huber.

Dynamite started with everyone at the top of the ramp, including Huber’s wife and two kids, as the bell rang 10 times to honor Huber. Throughout the show, several testimonials aired from those who worked with Huber over the years as little Brodie Huber, affectionately known as -1 of the Dark Order, watched on from ringside with other AEW stars wearing his father’s mask.

Many members of The Dark Order were part of each match on the card, and everyone accompanied each other to the top of the ramp for every match. As a tribute to Huber, all matches were won by the members of The Dark Order for a clean sweep of 5-0.

The night ended with Cody Rhodes inviting Jon’s wife Amanda and his son Brodie, who came down with 10 and Tony Khan, leaving Huber’s boots in the middle of the ring. AEW President Tony Khan then presented the TNT title to Brodie Jr. A wonderful tribute video, showing photos from his wrestling career, including with WWE Superstars, and his family, then wrapped up the highly-emotional TNT broadcast.

Rest in peace, Jon Huber.
