AEW Continental Challenge Cup semi final matches announced

The AEW Continental Challenge Cup tournament is nearing its end with two more semi finalists advancing last night on Collision.

Kyle O’Reilly defeated Orange Cassidy in the first semi final of the night and then Claudio Castagnoli beat Daniel Garcia to advance. Garcia replaced Eddie Kingston, who was pulled after an injury, and only qualified for the tournament at the ROH Death Before Dishonor just 24 hours earlier.

A draw for the two semi finals was held during the show and will see Jon Moxley taking on fellow Death Riders faction member Claudio Castagnoli while Nigel McGuinness battles Kyle O’Reilly.

The semi final matches will be held this coming Wednesday on Dynamite from Glasgow, Scotland.
