The first AEW TNT special will be named Battle of the Belts and will air on Saturday, January 8 in prime time. The date is just three days after Dynamite moves permanently to TBS.

The show will take place from the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, a location which AEW has already performed in. Fans will be able to purchase tickets starting Saturday, November 27 at 10AM ET on AEWTix.com.

The graphic promoting the show featured all the AEW champions and this will be something similar to the Clash of the Champions NWA/WCW shows. WWE owns that trademark and AEW cannot use it and the company opted for The Battle of the Belts name which was used as for events promoted by the NWA and Championship Wrestling From Florida instead.
