AEW announces newest PPV, Redemption, for July in Montreal

AEW officially announced their newest pay-per-view to their calendar, Redemption, which will take place on Sunday, July 26.

The show will be live from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and the Bell Centre, a popular location for wrestling events.

“Montreal’s one of the greatest wrestling cities in the world,” AEW President Tony Khan said in an interview with Postmedia. “There’s such a rich history of professional wrestling. This will be a special event. It’s the first-ever AEW Redemption and it’s also the first-ever AEW pay-per-view in Montreal.”

The exclusive story was given to the Toronto Sun, which broke the news earlier today.

The Pre-sale for the event begin today at Ticketmaster.ca. General admission tickets go on sale starting June 1 at 10AM.

The name Redemption was used once by Impact Wrestling as a pay-per-view in 2018.
