AEW All-Atlantic title rebranded to International title

The AEW All-Atlantic title has been rebranded to the AEW International title ahead of next week’s match featuring champion Orange Cassidy taking on Jeff Jarrett.

AEW President Tony Khan announced the news on Dynamite last night.

“Next week marks the fifth and final defense of the AEW All-Atlantic Championship on international soil. It is the only AEW championship to ever change hands on international soil,” Khan said.

He then said that in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery to support the release of Shazam: Fury of the Gods movie, the title has been rebranded.

“Next week in Winnipeg, we will level up the championship,” Khan added.

The AEW All-Atlantic title was established on June 8, 2022 and the inaugural winner was Pac, winning it at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 26.
