Adam Cole off the Forbidden Door PPV due to illness

Adam Cole has been taken off from tonight’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view due to an undisclosed illness.

The announcement was made by AEW President Tony Khan who said that Cole’s match against Tom Lawlor has been canceled.

“Due to illness, @AdamColePro isn’t cleared tonight, therefore the Adam Cole vs @FilthyTomLawlor match is canceled,” Khan wrote. “Despite the change, tonight will be an amazing show! Thank you to everyone watching #ForbiddenDoor, either here live in Toronto @ScotiabankArena or on PPV tonight!”

Cole suffered his long-lasting concussion at last year’s Forbidden Door in Chicago.
