Reigns talks wrestling The Rock during The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon appearance

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns said he would fight his cousin Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson if he’s up for it…but he doesn’t know if Rock wants it.

Fallon mentioned that this is the 25th year anniversary of The Rock. “Survivor Series, 25 years of the Rock. The rumors…I’ll spare you, you don’t have to say yes or no…people are thinking maybe he’ll make an appearance,” Fallon quizzed Reigns.

Reigns said that he has not heard those rumors and he’d like to think he’s closer to anyone and he would have heard them. Fallon said that he knows they’re family but fans would like to see Reigns vs The Rock.

“That’s kind of something that we do in our family as far as sports entertainment, professional wrestling, WWE. This is our platform. This is our family business,” Reigns said, saying there’s no better way to solve problems than in the ring.

The working plan at one point was to have the Survivor Series centered about 25 years of The Rock but things did not line up and that idea was abandoned a few months ago.

Speaking of Roman Reigns, the champ will be taking on Big E this Sunday at the Survivor Series in a non-title match. He’s currently the favorite to win the match at 1/4 according to bookmakers and sports NZ.

During the seven-minute interview, Reigns also talks about his kids, Survivor Series, WrestleMania, and more. You can check it out below.
