Mike Santana hints July 15 free agency date

Former TNA World champion Mike Santana has posted “7/15” on his social media, hinting that it’s the day he officially hits free agency.

Santana finished up his commitments with TNA Wrestling at Slammiversary, dropping the TNA World title to Nic Nemeth on the way out. It capped off a two-year stint with the promotion after five years with AEW.

The rumors are that Santana is heading to WWE, where he already appeared a few times under the existing TNA/WWE partnership. He never wrestled full time for the company though, as the New York native went from indies to TNA to AEW and back to TNA.

Santana is a former two-time TNA World champion and four-time TNA Tag Team champion with his former partner Ortiz. They never won gold during their time in AEW.
