Nic Nemeth regains the TNA World title at Slammiversary 2026

Nic Nemeth is once again on the top of the mountain in TNA Wrestling, winning the TNA World title at Slammiversary yesterday.

Nemeth vs Mike Santana headlined the pay-per-view and the man formerly known as Dolph Ziggler won the title after hitting the Danger Zone for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, he and his brother Ryan celebrated in the ring and the show went to black.

This is his second reign with the TNA World title. His first one lasted 183 days, winning it from Moose also at Slammiversary in 2024. He was ultimately defeated by Joe Hendry at Genesis in January 2025.

Santana is rumored to be on the way out of TNA Wrestling and the result was not surprising. The streets are saying that Santana is on the way to WWE, although that remains to be seen.
