Rey Mysterio unveiled as the new AAA General Manager

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio was unveiled as the new AAA General Manager last night on the AAA on FOX broadcast.

AAA President Marisela Pena was in the ring to start the show, surrounded by many of the AAA legends, talent and others in and around the ring. Dorian Roldan was also there, hoping to get the job, but unfortunately for him, his mother had other ideas.

The fans exploded when Mysterio’s video popped on the screen followed by his theme song. Mysterio walked down high-fiving fans and many of the AAA stars also celebrated at ringside. His son, and AAA Mega champion Dominik Mysterio, was obviously not thrilled about the announcement.

Mysterio usually does weekly commentary in English for the broadcast with Corey Graves and JBL but was missing from the broadcast booth for last night’s episode.

The former WWE World Heavyweight champion worked for AAA between 1992 and 1996 and then again in 2015.
