Stephanie Vaquer’s ex-boyfriend found guilty of domestic violence and attempted femicide

Mexican reporter Antonio Nieto is reporting that Rogelio Reyes, the ex-boyfriend of WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer, was found guilty of domestic violence and attempted femicide.

The crime took place in March 2023 while she worked for CMLL and Reyes, who wrestled as El Cuatrero, worked for rival promotion AAA.

Vaquer filed a complaint at the time arguing that Reyes forced himself onto her after choking her and throwing her against a wall. Six days after the complaint, he was arrested following an AAA event and charged with attempted femicide and domestic violence.

He was released in March 2025 from jail pending further prosecution. He is expected to serve more jail time after the sentence which is set for next week.
