Road Dogg Brian James departs WWE

PWInsider.com is reporting that Road Dogg Brian James has departed WWE and is no longer part of the creative team.

The WWE Hall of Famer has been working in a backstage role with the company since 2014, as a trainer, producer, and also in creative.

James, 56, was appointed as the head writer for Smackdown and didn’t receive many high praises from fans after the show took a bit of a nose dive following his appointment.

It is believed that he was the one who chose to leave WWE and wasn’t fired, although the reason for his departure remains unknown at this time.
