MJF wins second AEW World title at Worlds End 2025

MJF did what he promised he would do, joining only an elite – pun intended – group of wrestling stars who became a two-time world champ under the age of 30.

At Worlds End last night, MJF defeated champ Samoa Joe, Adam Page, and Swerve Strickland to regain the title almost two years after losing it to Samoa Joe on the same pay-per-view. MJF pinned Joe after Joe was hit by two Buckshot lariats by Page, who was then kicked in the nuts by MJF and delivered the Heat Seeker on the champion to get the win.

MJF’s first run was very successful, lasting a total of 406 days.

He inserted himself in what was a three-way match after he returned to cash in his Casino Gauntlet contract which he won at All In: Texas.

MJF celebrated his win on X, describing himself as a generational talent and the young goat. “Tell everyone else to keep up,” he wrote, adding, “Cry to your momma!”

On Christmas Day, he wrote, “They don’t hand out greatness, they document it. After Worlds End, I join a list of only 9 men to be world champion twice before 30,” listing the names Lou Thesz, Rikidōzan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazuchika Okada, Yokozuna, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and John Cena.
