Orange Cassidy returns after six months out

Orange Cassidy made his return to AEW television after six months out following a torn pec injury.

The popular star was the surprise partner of Mark Briscoe and Hologram in a trios match against Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, and Hechicero.

Cassidy made his grand entrance by coming out from a picture frame which Don Callis was going to unveil. The whole return however was a bit mistimed, with the lighting and the music/video board not matching, not to mention that his entrance video transitioned to a huge red “Media offline” graphic.

“I thought I sent the correct file type to graphics. Guess not. Oh well. Hey, what’s up?” wrote Cassidy on X afterward. The AEW X account welcomed Cassidy by reposting his message and saying, “It’s fine. Or whatever.”

Cassidy last wrestled in March on Dynamite in an AEW International title eliminator tournament final four way match which also included Mike Bailey, Ricochet, and Mark Davis.
