In late 2012, Jake “The Snake” Roberts was at rock bottom and Diamond Dallas Page came to the rescue. Roberts vowed to get in shape and enter the Royal Rumble this year and last night on RAW, he came back as the biggest surprise of the night.

After Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk in the main event and The Shield stood over the former WWE champion, Roberts’ theme song hit and out came the WWE Legend with a bag over his shoulder.

Jake “The Snake” emptied the bag to show off his “new and improved Damien” according to Michael Cole and just like old times, put the snake on top of a fallen Dean Ambrose as JBL screamed “somebody call PETA!”

On his Twitter, Roberts thanked WWE and all the fans and vowed that this was not the end. “Gonna be tough sleeping after this night,” he wrote.
