CM Punk takes a shot at “Hangman” Adam Page after Collision goes off air

CM Punk is still harboring bitterness towards Hangman Adam Page and the self-proclaimed “real” AEW World champion took a dig at Page last night after Collision.

Following their loss to House of Black for the AEW World Trios titles, Punk got on the mic and told the fans that earlier in the day he went to a supermarket and found out why they call Page Hangman.

“It’s because the pegs in the toy aisle are full of Hangman action figures because no one wants to buy them,” Punk said as the crowd gasped.

“He’s a peg warmer unlike me who moves merchandise and pops ratings and sells toys. Everyone in AEW says ‘I’m the heart…I’m the soul…I’m the spirit.’ Well’s that’s objective,” Punk continued, before stumbling on his lines and butchered the end of his promo, where he admitted he messed up!

Dax Harwood then took the mic away from Punk and said, “Maybe this is what we call heel turn? I’m not sure…maybe I should…”

Punk and Page share a non-friendly history in AEW where it all started leading up to Double or Nothing last year when Page attacked Punk in a promo, going personal. Punk said that Page played dirty in their match and then buried Page in a later promo even though they were not feuding with each other in the ring.
