It was revealed last night before the AEW World title match that Tay Melo, the wife of Sammy Guevara, is pregnant.

The announcement was made via cue cards during Guevara’s entrance.

“It’s time for the big match,” read the first cue card, and that was followed by, “But first…” and then, “We have big news to share.” Next came, “We are having a baby,” which actually got a big pop from the Vegas crowd.

It was certainly a different way to tell the world and judging by the reaction, it worked.

Sammy and Tay revealed they were dating in January of last year and got engaged and married a few months later. Guevara actually proposed to his former girlfriend in an AEW ring five months prior to the two going public with their relationship.
