Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase apologizes for “untimely” post on social media

The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase apologized for an “untimely” post that was sent to his social media channels yesterday.

“As you know, I try to share nostalgic memories from my wrestling career as a way for fans to revisit their childhood memories,” DiBiase’s statement said. “Since my time is limited due to travel requirements, the posts are approved by me ahead of time and scheduled for a later date.”

But the WWE Hall of Famer admitted that circumstances at the moment are rather difficult following his son’s troubles with the United States Department of Justice.

“Our family is currently navigating a difficult season and while we cannot speak to these events publicly, we appreciate your prayers during this time,” he continued, adding that he truly appreciates the love and support from the fans who have been part of his family for more than 40 years.

His son Ted DiBiase Jr. was charged on 13 counts by the Department of Justice earlier this week in his role with misappropriating millions of dollars in federal safety-net funds intended for needy families and low-income individuals in Mississippi.
