Over 1,200 days without a pinfall loss, will Roman’s reign come to an end tonight?

It has been over 1,200 days since Roman Reigns was last pinned in a WWE ring. Yes. That is over three long years.

And the last man to do it? Baron Corbin, believe it or not. It was at the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view in December 2019 when that happened. Granted, Corbin had some assistance in the forms of Dolph Ziggler and The Revival, but a pin is a pin and that was Reigns’ last registered three-count against him.

Reigns has gone through 150 matches since then, escaping unscratched in every single one of them but tonight he meets Cody Rhodes, the man on the rise and hellbent on becoming the new Undisputed WWE Universal champion.

In another fun fact, Roman Reigns will become the only person in WrestleMania history to main event the show while defending his title(s) in the same reign. Roman beat Edge and Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 37 and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to unify the titles. No other man has managed that accomplishment and it might be a very, very long time before someone else pulls it off.
