WWE finally moves Sasha Banks to the alumni section

It took a while, but WWE has finally removed Sasha Banks from its active roster lineup on WWE.COM and moved her to the alumni section.

Banks made her NJPW debut as Mercedes Mone at Wrestle Kingdom yesterday, attacking the IWGP Women’s champion Kairi. The two will be meeting for the title on the February 18 NJPW event titled Battle In The Valley which will take place in San Jose, California.

Just minutes before appearing on Wrestle Kingdom, she thanked William Regal, Triple H, the WWE Universe, Vince McMahon, and her own character, Sasha Banks, in a series of tweets.

Naomi, who walked out with her in May of last year, is still listed in the active rosters page. Naomi, along with Bayley, were in Tokyo supporting their friend and seeing her debut live and in person.

Mercedes Mone is rumored to be showing up on Dynamite next Wednesday for their big show in Inglewood, California.
