Big Damo makes AEW debut on Rampage

Big Damo, formerly known as Killian Dain in WWE, made his debut for AEW last night on Rampage.

Damo wrestled Shawn Spears on the broadcast but walked out with his first loss as Spears got the victory. Damo was being billed as a “giant” and as a 17-year veteran who held titles in 11 different promotions.

The Belfast-born 37-year-old was released from WWE in mid-2021 after a five-year run, most of which was in NXT as part of SAnitY. He also married Nikki A.S.H. during his WWE days.

Since leaving WWE, he’s been working for New Japan Pro Wrestling and doing a lot of independent shows. He has not signed a deal with AEW.
