WrestleMania 38 shatters record in India with over 56 million people tuning in

Quoting numbers released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council, India.com is reporting that WrestleMania 38 was seen by 56.1 million people on Sony Sports in India, a new record for WWE.

The total viewership of WrestleMania 38 was up by 29% year-on-year compared with WrestleMania 37 in 2021. In day-by-day breakdown, the Saturday show was up 34% and Sunday was up by 33% compared to previous year.

BARC also said that the Raw After Mania saw a 9% increase in viewership, mainly due to the hype of the arrival of Veer Mahaan, who is also from India.
