Five-way match for NXT title at Takeover after Adam Cole returns

The NXT title match at the upcoming Takeover: In Your House event has been changed to a fatal five-way match after Adam Cole returned on NXT last night and wrecked havoc.

Cole made his presence felt during the triple threat number one contender’s match between Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly, and Johnny Gargano, with the former leader of The Undisputed Era attacking everyone.

Later in the show, Cole demanded an NXT title match and Karrion Kross told NXT General Manager William Regal that he wants to take on everyone at Takeover and Regal granted his wish.

The odds will certainly be against the champion as Kross has to defend the title against Cole, Gargano, O’Reilly, and Dunne in order to come out of In Your House still the champ.

Adam Cole has not been seen much on NXT television lately and last appeared over a month ago in a sit-down interview segment.
