Four new AEW specials to air annually on TNT

The new weekly AEW television series Rampage will be airing every Friday starting at 10PM, avoiding a head-to-head with Smackdown on FOX which ends at that time.

Rampage, which also moves to TBS in January 2022, will be an hour-long show and will likely be taped on the same day as Dynamite although the press release did not indicate anything about tapings. With Dark and Dark Elevation, AEW will have to rethink their tapings schedule moving forward especially when shows return in front of live fans.

It was also announced that AEW will debut four new specials annually which will air on TNT.

“And, while we’re looking forward to our arrival on TBS, we’re not saying goodbye to our original and current home of TNT, which will air four new special supercard events annually,” said AEW President Tony Khan. “Plus, the financial upside to our new agreement will give us the opportunity to continue to invest in and grow AEW to serve the most important people in our industry: our fans, our wrestlers, our staff and our sponsors. With All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite and Rampage taking center stage via our new agreement on TBS next year, and the new quarterly supercards launching on TNT, our exposure and our opportunities to grow AEW are greater than ever!”
