For the 16th time, WWE will present Backlash on pay-per-view this Sunday although this time, the name is slightly changed to WrestleMania Backlash, representing the continuation of feuds from WWE’s biggest show of the year from last month in Tampa.

Today, we take a look at the early online betting odds for WrestleMania Backlash and tomorrow, hours before the actual pay-per-view, we will present the latest numbers.

The show will be headlined by a triple threat match for the WWE Championship featuring Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Braun Strowman. The champion Bobby Lashley is 1/3 favorite to win the match and retain the title while former WWE champ Drew McIntyre is 10/3 and former Universal champ Braun Strowman is a long shot with 8/1 odds.

The Universal title will also be defended in a very highly-anticipated match between Roman Reigns and Cesaro. The champion Roman Reigns is heavy favorite with his odds at 1/10 right now and Cesaro, looking for his first major heavyweight title in WWE, is 11/2.

Both the Raw and Smackdown Women’s titles will be defended at WrestleMania Backlash, with the Smackdown Women’s title in a one-on-one match and the Raw Women’s title in a triple threat. In the Smackdown Women’s title match, Bianca Belair is super favorite with odds of 1/16 in her favor while former champion herself Bayley is 7/1 for the upset. Raw Women’s champion Rhea Ripley is 4/7 and favorite to retain the gold while Charlotte Flair is 2/1 and Asuka is far behind with odds of 13/2.

The Smackdown Tag Team champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode put their titles on the line against the father-and-son tag team of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Things are looking good for the Mysterios who are favorites with odds of 1/4 while the Dirty Dawgs are 11/4 to keep them.

Damien Priest and The Miz will go one-on-one in a lumberjack match as several WWE Superstars will surround the ring. Priest is the favorite heading into the show with 1/7 odds while The Miz is currently 4/1 underdog.

Backlash started as a WWE pay-per-view in 1999 and was a yearly tradition in April – except once in May – till 2009. WWE did not hold a Backlash pay-per-view from 2010 to 2015 and brought back the show in September 2016. The show was not held in 2019 but returned last year in June with the main event of Edge vs Randy Orton marketed as the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever.
