Bobby Lashley gets WWE title shot next week on Raw

Bobby Lashley will get a WWE title shot next week on Monday Night Raw as The Miz’s second reign as WWE champion could be a very short one.

Lashley defeated Braun Strowman yesterday to keep the match a one-on-one as the stipulation was that if Braun won, he would be inserted in the match and changed to a triple threat match.

It appears that The Miz engaged the services of Bobby Lashley to beat up Drew McIntyre following the Elimination Chamber match, allowing The Miz an easy path to the WWE championship. Lashley on Raw wanted to cash in the favor he pulled for the Miz and gave the new WWE champion just 60 minutes to make up his mind.

But after Strowman interrupted wanting a WWE title shot himself, Adam Pearce and Shane McMahon made the match between Strowman and Lashley and announced the WWE title match for next week’s show.

Lashley closed Raw beating up The Miz after Miz attacked, or better yet, tried to attack, him after he beat Strowman.
