Ben Carter reportedly signs with WWE

WWE has reportedly signed Ben Carter, the British indie star who has appeared on AEW Dark and the late-night Dynamite on TNT last month.

Carter, who was trained by Seth Rollins, revealed last month that he worked AEW for free due to visa issues that prevented him from getting paid for working inside the United States. Carter said that AEW told him that it would be illegal if they paid him and Carter wanted to work the shows anyway and did it without getting compensated.

After his matches aired, Carter then reveled that he tested positive for COVID-19.

The man known as “The Prodigy” is rumored to be joining the NXT UK roster.
