NXT returning to live broadcasts, some fans expected at Takeover 31

NXT will be returning to a live format starting from next Wednesday every week according to PWInsider.com. WWE had been tapings NXT in advance for the past several months and when Raw and Smackdown went live, NXT remained taped.

As reported yesterday, the company is also moving out from Full Sail University for the foreseeable future and will hold all televised shows for the yellow brand inside the WWE Performance Center. Since moving to Full Sail, WWE has used students who study at the university to do camera work and production duties but since the pandemic hit, WWE personnel has been doing that work.

But one of the major reasons why WWE is moving out from Full Sail is that the university is not allowing any fans inside its building and WWE plans to bring fans in for their shows. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling said that there will be some fans inside the PC tomorrow for Takeover 31 as part of a “new look” broadcast which Triple H hinted at earlier this week, saying he hopes this change will be a “game changer” for NXT.
