Kris Statlander undergoes successful knee surgery

AEW’s Kris Statlander underwent successful ACL surgery yesterday, a procedure which was required to repair her high grade torn ACL.

Statlander has been out of action since the Dynamite episode on June 10 and suffered her injury during the match with Hikaru Shida against Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford. Statlander went for did a dive on Kip Sabian and landed badly on her left knee, tearing the ACL in the process.

She posted a photo on Twitter giving the two thumbs up following surgery. It takes from six to nine months to recover from a torn ACL so it’s going to be a long road of recovery for Statlander.
