More cuts made from NXT and the WWE Performance Center

The layoffs at WWE continued throughout the week unfortunately, with many more NXT and developmental talent who were training inside the WWE Performance Center getting the pink slip.

Those who got the cut from NXT include Taynara Conti, Tino Sabbatelli, Cezar Bononi, Kassius Ohno, interviewer Alyssa Miles, and ring announcer Jon Quasto. They joined MJ Jenkins, Deonna Purrazzo, Dan Matha, and on-air talent Josiah Williams who got released due to COVID-19 cost-cutting measures.

The Performance Center, which is the home of nearly 100 developmental talent also suffered several cuts as many individuals who had been training there but never made their NXT debut got released. Three of the coaches – Ace Steel, Serena Deeb, and Kendo Kashin – were furloughed as well.

Over 50 WWE Superstars, NXT, and producers were released and/or furloughed during the week, which was the biggest “bloodbath” in WWE history. Those are in addition to the several others at the WWE headquarters in Stamford who also suffered the same fate.
