WWE women main event three pay-per-views in 2019

WWE women main evented three pay-per-views in 2019, including the biggest show of the year – WrestleMania – matching the number of main events they did in 2018 during the height of the women’s revolution.

This year, the women held the top match at WrestleMania 35, the Survivor Series, and the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-views. Perhaps the most significant one was the WrestleMania main event where for the first time in 35 years, the female Superstars were the top billing. It was also the first time for the women headlining the Survivor Series.

Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Shayna Baszler, Asuka, and Kairi Sane were the seven women who main evented these three pay-per-views. Lynch main evented all three of them, with Flair being a part of two, while Rousey, Bayley, Baszler, Asuka, and Sane all being part of one match.

Last year in 2018, the WWE women main evented the Royal Rumble, Evolution, and TLC as well. Evolution was a women-only pay-per-view so you could argue the case that this year it was better since there was no specific women’s show.
