Ashley Massaro dies of apparent suicide, daughter Alexa with heart-breaking message

TheBlast.com website is reporting that Ashley Massaro died of a suicide after battling depression, a depression she claimed in a class action lawsuit which came due to her injuries and shots to the head while wrestling in WWE.

Her body was discovered at her home in Smithtown after she failed to show up for work at a local radio station – 943 The Shark – in New York. Emergency responders performed CPR in the ambulance but she was already gone.

Just a day before she passed, Massaro tweeted a photo of a ton of fan mail, writing that she answered most of them and those who wrote them should be receiving a reply soon. The tweet was posted at 12:53AM on May 16. That was her last tweet.

Massaro was in a class action lawsuit by Konstantine Kyros where she joined over 50 former WWE Superstars suing the company for brain damage.

Meanwhile, her daughter Alexa posted a heart-breaking tribute to her young mother on Instagram Stories, uploading a photo of the two together and the words, “I love you mommy I want to wake up in your arms more than anything. I want to give u a big hug please come back this cant be real.”
